Actuarial Analyst
Job Description As the first incumbent to fill this role, we are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, results oriented with solid business and actuarial acumen to join our team. The Actuarial Analyst will engage in all aspects of work performed by our Actuarial department. Duties will include compiling, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy of data; preparing and maintaining complex models, analyzing results, making recommendations, and implementing changes to our products and process; as well as acting as a resource for ratemaking, loss reserve studies, financial reporting, forecasting and other special projects as needed for company support and state DOI rate filings. The ability to lead and collaborate with team members company-wide, as well as with senior management, providing accurate information and feedback, is essential to the role. The candidate must have knowledge of actuarial modeling techniques. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Actuarial Services in our Glastonbury, CT home office. Responsibilities
